Education of law is a very well-established branch of education whose traditions date back to hundreds of years. However, in the 21st century called the age of knowledge, the phenomenon of globalization maturing each passing day both has made a profound impact on the understanding of nation, country and national law and necessitated re-examination of the law education's program. In this sense, for instance, each legal problem may have an international dimension. In addition, it is likely to encounter legal problems which arise in a country and reach the other countries and will possibly affect their legal order. For this reason, nowadays the purpose of law education definitely involves the teaching of international law and practice related to this. Besides, the careful investigation of international law relations which are in interaction with national law must be included.

Great importance is given to combining theory with practice. The graduates of this department will have enough knowledge of law and foreign language skills to work easily in Turkey and countries linked with Turkey.
Law aims to organize communal relationships; in this respect, person to person, person to government, government to government relationships have been arranged by the law system with the rules linked to sanctions. Though we are not fully aware, each moment we live and every action we do is determined by rules of law, and law surrounds our life tightly.
