Electronics and Communication Technology
In the first year of the two-year program, courses all of which are practical laboratory include: Basic Electric and Electronics, Digital Electronics, Measuring Techniques, Direct Circuit and Alternative Circuit Analysis and Basic Computer. There are also computer laboratories equipped with the latest technology where the students can practice what they have learnt. Besides, within Basic Mathematics and courses related to Physics, it is aimed to encourage students to develop skills associated with solving digital problems. In the second year of the program, via courses on professional training such as analogue and digital telecommunication, satellite telecommunication, RF (Radio Frequency) techniques, it is aimed to provide a reliable basis for students in their professional life. With the compulsory internship at the end of the first and second years, they will be more involved in real workplace environment and encouraged to gain practical skills.
Electronics and Telecommunication Programme has academic staff competent with foreign languages most of whom have overseas experience. Within the education process, students have the chance to be in close contact and benefit from the cooperative firms and institutions of the university that help them contribute to their professional skills. Seminars and courses occasionally prepared by technical personnel who is active in the sector provide the students with experience from their professional lives and with a prospective view of what to expect in the near future.
