International Trade and Finance

      The main aim of the Department of International Trade and Finance is to raise entrepreneurs and manager candidates via dynamic and innovative training programs in the light of global standards who can compete in national and international markets, take anticipated risks, make fast and accurate decisions and implement them. Considering Turkey’s economic, social, political and geographic features, it can be said that our international trade volume develops constantly and will continue to grow. In order for our country to find its deserved place in international arenas where intense competition is experienced, there is a need for trained employees in this area.

      Graduates of the department can be employed in marketing, finance, accounting and human resources management positions in the private sector, may apply to become independent accountants or financial advisors, and are also prepared for inspection, expertise and auditing positions in the public sector.

      Graduates will have the opportunity to work in various departments of national and international companies as inspectors, auditors, accountants, managers and professional employees. Besides, graduates can start their own businesses, work in banks or pursue academic careers.

      The program has been designed to satisfy the needs of students who want to access positions bearing international responsibility. The department aims to prepare the students in the best equipped way possible as professionals of the future who can take part in the dynamic and complex setting of the global market.

      Students gain skills in business and development planning strategies, determining and implementing business policies. Within this framework, training is provided in the fields of management, organization, human resources management, production management, marketing, financial management and quantitative decision making techniques.
