Economics and Administrative Sciences
Effective management of economics, enterprises, information technologies and international relations have played significant roles in the 21st Century. Aiming at decreasing unemployment rates which result from technological developments shaping economy and enterprises, Izmir University has decided to establish Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The mission of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is to manage economic resources by means of powers on macro and micro basis, considering global and regional environmental conditions that change dynamically for the purpose of meeting national and international economical needs and to produce and share new information through scientific researches.
In this sense, our faculty aims to train entrepreneurs, managers, economists, IT specialists and researchers to meet the qualifications that national and international markets need by training students who will perceive the changing environmental conditions, think globally and analytically, have the ability to do careful planning, perform well as part of a team, research, create, and compete.
