In the age of rapidly evolving technology, Izmir University Engineering Faculty was founded with the aim to meet the demand for human resources in the field of engineering, to increase the international competitiveness of our country, to keep up with the increasingly rapid pace in technology, to realize technology-intensive developments and take active role in the transformation of national and international science and technology into social welfare.
Our aim is to train engineers who have an awareness to expand the scientific and technological horizons of the community, with a team spirit, committed to scientific and technological targets, able to meet the needs of the industry in line with industrialization strategies, research oriented, familiar with the latest technologies, able to think freely, open to continuous self- development, able to use information technologies at the highest level, possessing the necessary knowledge and experience to apply scientific principles to real problems rather than theory.
