Software Engineering

      Software engineering is a discipline of developing and maintaining software systems which work in a reliable and efficient way, which are affordable to develop and maintain satisfying all the requirements that customers have defined for them. Software applications range from personal computing to entertainment systems and life-critical applications such as medical, flight and space systems.

      The principal purpose of the Software Engineering Department is to give students the necessary basic knowledge of software engineering expected nowadays at the international level.

      Software Engineers will be qualified professionals involved in the technical work of designing, coding, and testing large software products. They will also be responsible for tasks such as directing projects, managing teams, estimating costs and resources, assessing business plans, reviewing proposals and suggesting innovations.
